On February 11, 2026, the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, in partnership with Betso Charity Foundation, commemorated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science under the theme “From Vision to Impact: Redefining STEM by Closing the Gender Gap.”
The event featured student presentations, an interactive quiz competition, and an awards and prize-giving session designed to inspire and empower young girls in STEM. Participants showcased innovative ideas, engaged in knowledge-sharing, and were recognized for their outstanding performances.
The celebration reaffirmed the commitment of both organizations to promoting gender inclusion in science and encouraging more girls to pursue opportunities in STEM for lasting impact.
